- Domestic TSA acceptance at 50 Real-ID checkpoints

General availability (Months 18–30)
- Online enrollment opens to all eligible citizens
- Online renewal pipeline expanded to digital-first issuance
- 30+ countries accept SecureID at eGates
- Reduced fees for digital-only credential ($30 vs $130)

Paper sunset (Months 30–36+)
- Paper passport becomes opt-in backup only
- Consular emergency replacements drop 80%+
- Joint US-EU DTC mutual recognition agreement
